John Fusco is a republican and community activist talking about his upbringing in Lisburn and his move to the Clonard area of Belfast after his marriage. John speaks about the harassment experienced by his Catholic parents who emigrated here from Italy at the beginning of the twentieth century. John recalls the war years (World War II), his interest in Gaelic games, and the discrimination he experienced in his working life in the ‘40s, ‘50s, and ‘60s.
