Jean Barnes was born in the 1960s in East Belfast. In this interview she talks about her memories of the British Army coming onto the streets of Belfast. She describes how the loyalist community felt a connection with the soldiers when they first arrived, but this changed when the paratroopers murdered a member of their community. Jean goes on to talk about how she feels their political representatives let them down and commends sacrifices made by the loyalist community in which she lives.
