Bob Harker was born in 1957 and joined the Durham Light Infantry of the British Army at the age of 18. He talks about his three-year experience as a squaddie in the British Army which included a six month tour of duty in Ballymurphy in 1977. He speaks about joining the Labour Party after leaving the army and becoming aware of the campaign against plastic bullets with which he became actively involved. Bob speaks about his connections with people in Ireland and his perspective on the peace process.
